Allen Parker, 57, of Detroit, MI formerly of Memphis, TN, died March 17, 2009 in Detroit, MI. He was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Memphis. His parents, Mr. Jimmie A. Parker and Mrs. Carvell Harris Parker, and his brother Thurman Harris Parker preceded him in death. He is survived by his sisters, Christine Parker Williams, Doris Parker Jones, Mattie Parker Bell, Carolyn Parker Gunn, and Geraldine Parker Jones, and one brother Eugene Parker, all of Memphis, TN, two uncles, and a host of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be March 24, 2009 at Greater Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 3077 Johnson St. with the burial immediately following at Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery on Hacks Cross Road.
