BARBARA JEAN FORD, 62, of Memphis, died February
24, 2009 at Methodist University Hospital. She was a member of Mt.
Vernon Baptist Church and a graduate of Booker T. Washington High
School. Visitation will be from 4-6:30 p.m. at N. J. Ford &Sons Funeral
Home. Service at 12 Noon Saturday, February 28 at Mt. Vernon Baptist
Church Westwood. Burial will be in New Park Cemetery. She was preceded
in death by her husband, Curley Ford. She leaves one daughter, Kimberly
Gayden of Memphis; two sisters, Ora L. Boyland of Memphis, TN, Clara
Jean Parham of Jackson; two brothers, Jerry L Bayland (Patricia), Harry
L. Boyland (Shirley), both of Memphis; granddaughter, Alexus Gayden;
grandson, Raphael C. Hardy, both of Memphis. She leaves a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. N. J. Ford &
