Barbara M. Neal of Memphis, TN departed this life on Tuesday, September 27, 2011. Barbara graduated Booker T. Washington High School in 1953, she attended LeMoyne-Owen College where obtained a Bachelors of Arts in Social Studies, while at LeMoyne she became a active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Barbara retired from the YWCA after 32 years of faithful service. After retirement she worked for Memphis in May and Memphis Theological Seminary. Barbara was faithful member of Mt. Olive Cathedral CME Church until her health failed. She leaves behind on son Jearld (Dorris) Neal of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, John, Sr., (Joyce) Neal of Memphis, TN, Charles (Margaret) of San Diego, CA, and Malcolm (Eva) Neal of Memphis, TN. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, October 2, at M J Edwards Whitehaven; Services 11 a.m. Monday, October 3, at Mt Olive Cathedral CME Church, 538 Linden Ave.
