BLANCHE MARIE “Pie” FANION, 81, of Memphis, TN, retired Shelby County Government employee, died October 9, 2011. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and Rust College, a member of Centenary United Methodist Church. Visitation from 4-7 p.m. Friday, October 14 and services at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 15, both at Centenary United Methodist Church with burial following in Elmwood Cemetery. She is survived by four daughters, Vicki Fanion Hall, Cheryl Fanion Cotton, Candice Fanion Thomas (Greg), Terri Fanion Wright (Stanley); one son, Jerry Fanion, Jr. (Jackie), all of Memphis, TN; one brother, Gene Cumby, Sr. (Arezza); eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
