OBITUARIES

 

 

Bobbye Moore. Born September 9, 1947, Bobbye Jean was the second of three daughters born to the late Mr. Clarence Foster Pegues and wife Mrs. Mozetta Charleston Pegues. Her quiet life ended Saturday, October 22, 2011. Visitation, 4-6:30 p.m. Friday, October 28 and service 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 29, all at N. J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home. Burial Monday, October 31 in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. From her early days on, she attended Holy Temple Church of God and Christ where she sang in the choir, participated in youth activities and Sunday School. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1965. She attended LeMoyne College and later achieved certificates in Home Healthcare/nursing and worked in several medical faculities and care homes during her career. She married her husband of 33 years John Moore of Lamar, Mississippi on March 15, 1979. Memories of her are indelibly marked in the hearts of her husband, John; her son, Aubrey; stepdaughter, Linda Fay; her mother, Mrs. Mozetta Charleston Pegues; mother-in-law, Mrs. Gussie Ambrose; her sisters, Geraldine (Theodras) White and Anease (Herbert) Rogers; three grandchildren, Anneka, Shikeitha and Robricass; twelve sisters-in- law, eight brothers-in-law; her many nephews, nieces, other family members and friends, including god brothers, Clarence Christian and Robert Miller.
