CAROLYN JEAN “Caroline” DUKES, 66, of Memphis, the
daughter of the late Albert and Lillian Dukes, alumnus of Booker T.
Washington High School, U. S. Army Veteran and retired clerk for Memphis
Defense Depot died on Friday, May 8, 2009 at Methodist South Hospital.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2009 from 5-7 p.m. at
Harrison’s Funeral Home Chapel, 2647 Carnes Avenue. Funeral ceremony and
interment with Military Honors Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 11 a.m. at West
Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd. She was preceded
in death by her two daughters, Adrian and Kimberly Dukes. Her memories
will be cherished by her granddaughter, Amberly James, a very special
niece, Dara McGee, five sisters, Bolanile Ajanaku, Brenda (Ray) Jasper,
Sandra Pleas, Marsha Harris and Sharon (Lorenzo) Dorse, two brothers,
Charles Dukes and David (Nanella) Dukes and a host of nieces, nephews,
