OBITUARIES

CLARENCE PERKINS, JR., age 71, of Memphis, TN, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Memphis Veterans Medical Center, Memphis, TN. Mr. Perkins was a retired employee of Napa Auto Center; he served in the U. S. Army. He was the son of the late Clarence Perkins Sr. and the late Lottie Howard Perkins. He is also survived by his wife, Vinnie R. Daugherty Perkins; one daughter, Twila A. Daugherty of Memphis, TN; one son, Anthony K. Perkins of Memphis, TN; three grand-children; one great-grandchild. Arrangements are being handled by R S Lewis & Sons Funeral Home, 374 Vance Ave, Memphis, TN.
