DR. LAWRENCE SEYMOUR, 75, of Memphis, graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, Tennessee State University and Howard University Medical School and a member of Central Baptist Church, died February 23, 2010. Visitation will be Sunday, February 28 from 2-4 p.m. at N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, and Monday, March 1 from 10:30 a.m.-12:25 p.m., with services to follow at 12:30 p.m. at Central Baptist Church on Joubert. Rev. Lafayette Seymour will be officiating. Host Pastor, Rev. Lynn Dandridge. Burial will be in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. He leaves his wife, Anita Seymour; two daughters, Lauren Seymour Lewis (Gregory) of Atlanta, GA and Shana T. Settles; two sons, Eric Seymour of Knoxville, TN and Malcolm Settles of Nashville, TN; one brother, Rev. LaFayette (Barbara) Seymour of Washington, DC; four grandchildren, Malcolm Barnes, Taylor Thomas, Kennedy Seymour and Price Seymour, and a host of nieces and nephews.
