Captain for Memphis Police Department, Navy veteran, member of
Greater White Stone Baptist Church, Deacon and Church Clerk
(Emeritus), died August 22, 2009. Visitation will be from 12-7
p.m. Thursday, August 27 at N.H. Owens & Son Funeral Home, and
from 10-11:55 a.m., with service to follow at 12 noon, Friday,
August 28 at Greater White Stone Baptist Church, 917 Wellington
St. Burial will be in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 2 p.m.
on Friday. He leaves his wife, Dorothy Biggs Berkley and two
sons, Steven W. Berkley and Lyndon Berkley. N.H. Owens & Son
