OBITUARIES

 

 

ELOISE CURTIS passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2010. She is survived by her four children, Carla (John) Dilworth, Jimmy Curtis, Betty Curtis, JoAnn (Henry) Parker; three grandchildren, John (Semetrice) Dilworth II, Carmen Dilworth and Brittney Adu, and a host of nieces, nephews, and a cousin, Eberee Edwards. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and retired from the Army Defense Depot. She remained a faithful member of Christ Missionary Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, February 4 and Homegoing services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, February 5, both at Christ Missionary Baptist Church, 494 South Parkway East, Memphis, TN. She will be laid to rest with her husband, James Curtis at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene-Road following the homegoing services. N. J.
