GENOE KING, 73, retired
nurse and graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, died June
30, 2010 while visiting her daughter in Hoffman Estates, IL.
Visitation will be Friday, July 9 from 4-6:30 p.m., and services
will be at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 10, all at N.J. Ford & Sons
Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Park Cemetery. She leaves five
daughters, Marnetta Young, Kim Byrd, Kina Dabbs, all of Memphis,
Karen Young of Chicago, IL and Carolyn Young of Hoffman Estates, IL;
three sons, John Young, Eddie Miller, and Michael Young, all of
Memphis; four sisters, Kathleen Taylor, Evelyn Bohanan (Gary),
Jacqueline Hobson (Elson), and Pastor Sharon Webb (Manford); two
brothers, Nathaniel Terry and Booker Terry, all of Memphis. She also
leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces,
nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. N.J. Ford & Sons
