GUS L. PLUMP, 76, passed Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Poplar Point Health and Rehabilitation Center. Visitation will be Friday, January 22 from 5-7 p.m. at M. J. Edwards Funeral Home-Airways Chapel. Graveside service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at New Park Cemetery, 4536 Horn Lake Rd. He was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, LeMoyne-Owen College and a retired U.S. Postal Service supervisor. He leaves his wife, Jean Plump; a daughter, Elizabeth Plump of Little Rock, AR; two aunts, Elizabeth Toles of Memphis and Louise Woods of Los Angeles, CA; an uncle, Joseph Woods, and two Goddaughters, Toni and Lauren Lester of Memphis, TN.
