HAROLD CALVIN CLARK, SR., 82, died Saturday, January 31, 2009 after a long illness at his residence in Memphis, TN. Mr. Clark was a member of St. John Baptist Church-Vance Ave. and a graduate of the class of 1944 of Booker T. Washington High School. He retired from Leader Federal Savings & Loan after 30 plus years of service. He was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Burrell Clark, Sr. (Pearl). He was preceded in death by his sisters, Geraldine Clark Arrington, Gloria Clark McNeil and one of his sons, Darrell Clark. He is survived by his wife, Helen L. Clark; his daughter, Patricia Clark-Ellis; his sons, Harold C. Clark, Jr. (Nancy), Ronald Clark (Kathi) and Micheal W. Clark (Kelly). He also leaves behind eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10-11 a. m., Thursday, February 5, 2009, at St. John Baptist Church, 640 Vance Ave. Burial will follow the service at Elmwood Cemetery. J. E.
