Hosea Hill, Jr. 73, died October 20, 2010 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. A 1955 Graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and earned an Engineering Degree from William R. Moore School of Technology in 1975. He was a member of Temple of Deliverance C.O.G.I.C. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Visitation will be Friday, October 29, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at M. J. Edwards, 1165 Airways Blvd and 11 a.m. until service at 12 noon, Saturday, October 30 at Temple of Deliverance C.O.G.I.C. 369 East G E Patterson Avenue. Burial in Memorial Park Southwoods at 5485 Hacks Cross Road. He leaves his devoted wife, Vera Osborne Hill; one son, Hosea "Ricky" Hill, III, and one daughter, Delvestia "Dale" Hill; four grandsons, Corey Hill, Daniel Adams, Travis Hill, Shaquille Hill; one brother, Charles Hill and foster sister, Norma White Alexander.
