JO EVELYN GRAYSON, 67, died March 29, 2009, after a
courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loving friends. She
graduated Booker T. Washington High School in 1960 and the University of
Memphis in 1993. Jo was a photographer/journalist and delighted
audiences with her performances as Mama Electric in 11 Hog Wild comedy
plays. She was Wings Cancer Foundation Outstanding Volunteer at Mid-Town
in 2007. A Memorial service will be held at Noon, Friday at Second
Presbyterian Church Chapel.
