PASTOR JOSEPH McGHEE, JR., 80, retired Pastor of Greater Whitestone Missionary Baptist Church, graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and Rust College, retired school teacher and Air Force veteran, passed October 23, 2011 at Methodist University Hospital. Visitation from 3-7 p.m., Friday, October 28 at Greater Whitestone Church, and Saturday, October 29 from 9-10:55 a.m., with services to follow at 11 a.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Westwood. Burial in New Park Cemetery. Pastor McGhee was preceded in death by his wife, Vennie McGhee.
