OBITUARIES

 

 

Julia Nell Fisher Wigley, age 68, passed away June 30, 2011. She retired after working 35 years for Memphis City School System. She also worked 20 years for First Baptist Church. She was a member of Pentecostal Temple. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Stephen Wigley II; son, Stephen (Carolyn) Wigley III; daughters, Stephanie (Selwyn) Nichols, Tischinna (Robert) Chalmers, and Kandis (Mark) Webb; grandchildren, Dr. Stephen Wigley IV, Reginika Cooper, Chelcie Nichols, Kayla Wigley, Antonia Ferguson, Malik Webb, and Morgan Webb; three brothers, Theodore (Ollie Vera) Fisher, Edward Clyde Fisher and Wilmer Fisher of Minneapolis, MN; sister, Barbara Davis; sister-in-law; Romaine Fisher of Bel Aire, MD; uncle, Mack Davis; aunt, Mammie Webb; and a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 8, from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Pentecostal Temple Church Of God In Christ. A Life Celebration Service will be held at 11 a.m. She was entrusted to J. O.
