LESTER L. MORRIS, 71, of Memphis, passed away June
18, 2008 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Memphis. He was a U.S. Navy
veteran. Visitation will be from 4-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 25 at N. J.
Ford & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at
Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church, 70 N. Bellevue. Burial will be
in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. He leaves his loving wife, Emily P.
Morris; a daughter, Anice Hines; three sisters, Paralee Wheeler, Dorothy
Morris and June Morris; three brothers, William Morris, Joseph Morris,
Jr, (Marion), all of Memphis and Vernon Morris (Laverne) of Chicago, IL;
one grandson, Julian Stephens of Memphis, TN; uncle, Lonzo Jackson of
Gary, IN; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family
requests memorial donations to MANNA Outreach Ministries c/o Mississippi
Boulevard Christian Church, 70 N. Bellevue, 38104 N. J. Ford Funeral
