MARGARET MULL SWIFT, 87, of Memphis, formerly of
Delaware, widow of Enoble Swift, retired employee of San Francisco
General Hospital, member of Simpson United Methodist Church, Newport,
DE, died on Friday, September 19, 2008 at Wesley Manor. She was a 1938
graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, attended City College of
San Francisco, member of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc., National
Business & Professional Women’s Organization, Eastern Star, Victory
Chapter #17 San Francisco, President’s Club of Democratic Party, The
Cornet Club, Kings Daughters Mission Group and Lions Club. Visitation
will be held on Saturday, September 27 from 9-10:55 a.m. at Harrison’s
Funeral Home Chapel, 2647 Carnes Avenue, with Funeral Ceremony at 11
a.m. Interment - Historic Elmwood Cemetery, 824 So. Dudley. Elder
Kendall Anderson officiating She leaves to cherish her memory her
caregivers and cousins, Barbara J. Doss and Valerie Moore; two
daughters, Theresa Swift of Vista, CA and Geraldine Estes of Los
Angeles, CA; one grandson, Eric Swift, and many god-children, cousins,
nieces, nephews, and many other special family members and devoted
