MORRIS LARRY JOY, JR., 59, of Memphis, passed March 8, 2011 at Methodist University Hospital. He was owner of Joy Electrical Contractors and Master Electrician for FedEx. Visitation will be Friday, March 11 from 4-6 p.m. at Joe Ford Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 12 at Annointed Temple of Praise Outreach Ministries, 3939 Riverdale Rd. at 11 a.m. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. He leaves his wife, Johnnie M. Joy; two sons, Rodney W. Joy (Stacy) and Vincent Joy (Tasha); two daughters, Marquetter Joy Stone (Charles) and LaRhonda M. Joy; godson, Mark Harris; mother, Mamie Joy Harvey; two brothers, Commissioner James Harvey, all of Memphis, and Pastor Ricky Harvey (Yvonne) of Rochester, NY; six sisters, Doris Reeves and Debra (John) Alexander, both of South Bend, IN, Linda Brown, Patricia Scales (Richard), Jennifer Harvey, all of Memphis, and Betty Davis (Dr. James) of Clarksville, TN; three grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
