OWIN WENDELL WILLIAMSON SR., 58, of Memphis, employee of Schering Plough, former security guard for Phelps Security, graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and attended the University of Pine Bluff in Pine Bluff, AR, died March 10, 2009. Visitation will be from 4-6:30 p.m. Friday, March 20 at N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home. Service will be at 12 noon, Saturday, March 21 at Avery Chapel Methodist Church, 882 E. Trigg. Burial will be in New Park Cemetery. He leaves his wife, Gloria Williamson; one daughter, Glenda Jones (Doyle) of Memphis; three sons, Michael Williamson, Owin Williamson, Jr. and Douglass Williamson, all of Memphis; two sisters, Sharon Moses (Johnny) of Memphis and Kathryn Williamson of Nashville, TN; one brother, Emmanuel (Imogene) Williamson of Memphis; four grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
