OBITUARIES

 

 

Pearlie B. Amerson Redd, born February 3, 1928, to the late George and Betty Bell Redd. She confessed hope in Christ at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church at age 12. She attended Woodstock School for Girls and was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time at 7 p.m., Thursday, February 4 at Mt. Gilead Ministries Church where she was currently a member. She was preceded in death by sister, Georgia Redd and brother, Claymon Redd, Sr. Pearlie leaves to cherish her memory, sister, Bertha M. Brown; brother-in-law, Johnnie M. Brown Sr. of Oklahoma, OK; three daughters, Bettye Weyrough, Georgia Morton, Juanda Thomas; one son, Darryl Thomas of Oklahoma, OK; (Oklahoma City?) six grandchildren, Robert Morton (Angela), Lonnie Amerson, Shawnetta Pool (Jevon), Demario Thomas, Nickolas Pruitt. 11 great-grand, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
