RAYMOND EARL ANDERSON, SR., 70, of Memphis, husband of Lubirdia Hayes-Anderson, retired supervisor for Pinkerton Security, alumnus of Booker T. Washington High School and attended Lemoyne Owen College died on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Mr. Anderson was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and was a Mason. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010 from 12-12:55 p.m. at St. John Baptist Church, 1656 Pendleton with Funeral Ceremony at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Historic Elmwood Cemetery, 824 So. with Dudley. Pastor James Delaney officiating. His life and legacy will be remembered by his wife, Lubirdia, his children, Raymond Earl (Deirdre) Anderson, Jr., Angela (Tim) Gaddis, Debbie (Daniel) Irons, Mary (Carlos) Branch and Misty Hayes, his siblings, Shirley Faye Anderson Morris and Leroy Anderson, Jr., a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
