JAMES JONES, SR., 73, United States Army veteran, retired United States
Postal employee and an alumnus of Booker T. Washington High School, died
August 1, 2007 at Delta Medical Center. Informal visitation will be held
Tuesday, August 7 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Christian Funeral Directors
Chapel, 2615 Overton Crossing. Interment is Wednesday, August 8 at 11
a.m. in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill-Irene Road.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his three older siblings; his only
child, Willie James Jones, Jr.; and his wife, Jenell G. Jones. He will
be fondly remembered by his nephews and nieces, his great-nephews and
nieces and his great-great-nieces.
