Wiley
received his formal education in Memphis,
Tennessee, a graduate of Booker T.
Washington high school, class of 1937.
On October 3, 1945, Wiley was
united in holy matrimony to Ernestine
Anderson. They were happily married for
sixty-three years.
Wiley worked in Chicago at the
Western Electric company for thirty-nine
years. After retirement, he traveled around
the country with the Midwest Bridge Unit of
Chicago and played golf in his spare time.
He and his wife joined Trinity
United Church of Christ in Chicago and found
greater hope and strength through Christ.
Wiley was preceded in death by his
parents and his sister, A. Vernette Wills.
Left to cherish his memory; his wife
Ernestine; his brother, Julian (Bettye), a
host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends,
and a very special daughter, Kathy Riley
(Charles).
